A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR KATHLEEN
LOVE REVOLUTION .... What is that? Just what it sounds like, Dear Ones! How are we called to live among God's faithful people? Just exactly how do we figure out the answer to Jesus's many insightful and provoking questions? What does it mean to live as the body of Christ, full of grace with imperfections, wounds, and scars? How do these things fit in visionary leadership and participation in our congregations and in our serving?
Let's go together on Oct. 19th from 9 am to 3 pm!
(See the flyer on our board outside the Office for more information)
BIRTHDAY BASH! THEME FOR OCTOBER’S MISSION MAKERS
What kid doesn’t love their birthday? Help children celebrate their birthdays in style by joining Mission Makers on Saturday, October 26, 3:30 - 5:00 pm.
October’s theme is Birthday Bash. Bags will be decorated and filled with the ingredients to make a birthday celebration extra special -- cake mix, frosting, cake decorations, candles, balloons, plus more. The completed bags will be distributed to local food pantries -- a “one stop shop” to help parents, grandparents, or guardians celebrate their child’s special day. And who doesn’t love cake? We’ll top off the theme with cake to celebrate the child in all of us!
PS. Many thanks to Thrivent Financial for giving us a grant for this project—and to Isabel Hyczko, a Thrivent member, who applied for the grant for St. Tim’s. – Kathy Swift
